Natural Remedies for Acne and Acne Scars

If you do an internet search for natural acne remedies or even natural acne scar remedies, the number of page results you get is pretty overwhelming. It seems as if everyone has a high-tech, opinionated, all-natural concoction or potion, the latest and greatest to cure the world of blackheads and blackheads.

The problem with that is that those of us who really need help are looking for answers, real answers, not another deception. Usually, what we find are pages and pages of technical details that always seem to leave lingering questions in the back of our minds or overwhelm us midway through the article, regardless of how informative it is.

There are two common lines of thought when it comes to health and they apply to the most common medical conditions. The body can heal itself or we have to heal the body artificially.

So, instead of giving you a list of specific natural remedies to spend your hard-earned money and probably waste a lot of your precious time, I’m going to offer you an opportunity for a slightly different perspective, a perspective, for that matter. say so, about how the body heals, what our personal role is while the body heals, as well as when and how it needs our help to do what it does best.

When someone says “the body can and does heal itself”, what do they mean? Obviously, if that were the case, and if the body was so good at healing itself, why would we need doctors? And what about all the people who die from disease or even injury? If the body could heal itself, why doesn’t it?

In terms of the extent to which the body can and does heal itself, there are certainly limitations. I call these limitations in matter. What this means is that there is a delicate balance in which the condition of the body succeeds or fails to heal. In circumstances where the material or resources the body needs to heal are unavailable, limited in quantity, or unable to overcome a specific illness or injury, the body needs outside help from us or our healthcare provider.

However, when that same balance is tipped in the body’s favor, in terms of a favorable healing environment, necessary nutrients, time, and rest, many times the body can and does heal itself.

Do you understand why cancer is so deadly? In basic terms, cancer is essentially a massive invasion by an enemy force in the form of an abnormal cell type, reproducing at very high rates. The body has normal defenses against this type of activity, it is designed to fight against these types of cells. However, the body’s defenses are overwhelmed, overwhelmed and triggered. Available medical treatments are designed to kill these rampant abnormal invading cells, but unfortunately they also kill a lot of the good ones.

When someone has a bacterial throat infection, such as strep throat, the doctor often prescribes an antibiotic. Why? Because the antibiotic not only kills the strep bacteria but also inhibits its growth. It does this so the body can rebuild its defenses and eventually fight off the infection. It’s not the antibiotic that healed the body, it helped the body recover the matter it needed to win the fight.

After a surgical procedure, the surgeon uses sutures or stables to close the incision. This brings the sides of the once open surgical or trauma site closer, but do sutures or staples heal the skin and create a scar? Not at all, in fact, all the sutures or staples are creating an environment in which the skin can heal itself.

The best natural remedy for acne or acne scars is easy; it is healthy skin and a healthy body. The simple truth is that acne is a response to an underlying problem within the body, and if you address those potential problems, clear, healthy skin will follow.

There are some key natural things you can do to help your body achieve healthy skin and reduce the occurrence of acne and acne scars.

– Take a close look at your diet. Our daily diet can affect our skin in the days and weeks that follow. There is a LOT of information on the internet to give you the details on how diet affects your skin.

– Reduce stress in your life. It is well documented that stress can directly cause or contribute to the development and severity of acne conditions. It is the effect of stress on the body through hormones that influence acne conditions. Finding ways to eliminate and deal with the unique stress in your life is key.

– Exercise moderately. Exercise also has a direct connection to our body’s hormone levels and can counteract the negative effects of stress.

Natural remedies for acne and acne scars don’t mean you have to spend a lot of money on the “newest thing.” In fact, all three general concepts I mentioned are FREE and so is a lot of information found on the internet. However, sometimes the easiest information to find is not so easy to understand.

Remember, the body can heal itself in most cases, but we have to do our part by making decisions that support the body’s efforts.

Happy healing.
