Attributes in the Entropia Universe

Entropia avatars gain abilities that influence their abilities and tasks within the game. The most basic and perhaps the most important of these skills are attributes. Attributes affect and are affected by everything in the game. Some of them are easy to breed, while others seem to be extremely difficult.

Agility is increased and influences various combat activities as well as defense, miscellaneous crafting, miscellaneous coloring, and beauty.

Intelligence increases and influences crafting, mining, scanning, and using mental strength, as well as a couple of combat activities like whip and ranged.

The psyche rises and influences the use of mental strength (which includes sweating).

Stamina influences running speed and as far as I know can only be increased through quests. However, an avatar’s overall overall level can also affect it, as I’ve known some “older” avatars with higher stamina.

Strength is influenced and increased by close combat. In addition to combat, strength is also beneficial to the avatar’s carrying capacity. The avatar will always be able to walk, however if it is overloaded, it will not be able to run.

I’m sure there are other areas that are influenced by attribute skills, but these are the most obvious and are also the activities a player can engage in to improve those same attributes. An important activity that can possibly increase various attributes is swunting (sweating and hunting the same animal).

By first making the animal sweat and taking hits, the avatar potentially gains psyche and agility. When the sweat part is complete, the avatar can initiate combat with a weapon. If that weapon is melee, then the avatar potentially gains strength and agility, as well as other related abilities. However, if the weapon is ranged, the possible attribute gains are in the intelligence and agility categories. These aren’t set in cement, of course, there’s likely to be more skill crossover. However, the swunting activity is a great way for an avatar to gain attribute skills and still have fun.

Also, you must remember that your attributes cannot be artificially increased or decreased. And the vast majority of standard tasks in Entropia increase agility. As a result, the gaming community has come to use Agility as a de facto measure of someone’s in-game ability, as well as time in-game. Thus, it adds another use for attributes and more information that you can get simply by knowing your opponent’s attributes.
