The Chronicles of Madness – Episode 14

In this, our 14th episode of Madness Chronicles, we’ll take a look at the madness of the Democratic Party in electing Joe Biden for President. Remember, insanity is a state of mental illness, especially severe, extremely foolish behavior, and a state of frenzied or chaotic activity. Let’s take a look at Mr. Biden.

A decade ago this month, in 2010, then-Vice President Biden briefly mourned the death of the Irish prime minister’s mother, even though she was very much alive. It was a St. Patrick’s Day celebration, so he maybe he was buoyant? Following his “victory” last week in the South Carolina primary, Sleep Joe, as he is called, addressed his supporters in a victory celebration. He began by introducing his sister as his wife and his wife as his sister. is that presidential? Maybe we shouldn’t jump to conclusions?

On the campaign trail last August, candidate Biden said, “I want to be clear: I’m not going crazy.” That was his response when he struggled to identify the location of a speech he had just given. Later that week, while he was campaigning in New England, more doubts were raised. “What’s not to like about Vermont?” Biden asked. Well, nothing really except that he was in New Hampshire. While on the stump in Iowa, he mistook Burlington, Iowa, for Burlington, Vermont. An honest mistake, I’m sure.

While campaigning in South Carolina, Biden told an audience: “30 years ago today, Nelson Mandela got out of prison and started arguing about apartheid.” At the time, Nelson Mandela was imprisoned on Robbens Island, off the coast of Cape Town, South Africa. Biden’s story, as reported by the New York Times, claimed that he was in Soweto, South Africa, to visit Mandela and was arrested along with UN ambassador Andrew Young. Joe, always the tough guy who talks on the street, claimed that he was arrested for the apartheid that was later practiced against blacks in that country. The only problem with his story is that it’s not true. Even Andrew Young told the media that he was not arrested, and neither was Biden. To be sure, lying is extremely foolish behavior, but it wasn’t the first time for Biden.

In New Hampshire, while answering questions, he found one he didn’t like. He called the lady who asked him: ‘A lying dog-faced pony soldier.’ Whatever that could mean? Creepy Joe, as some call him, told another story similar to that of Hillary Clinton getting out of the helicopter under sniper fire. It appears that Biden, as vice president, displayed great personal courage and heroism by traveling to a dangerous war zone to recognize the service of an American soldier who had distinguished himself in a particularly dramatic way. It was a moving story. “This is God’s truth,” he concluded. “My word as Biden.”

The problem once again is… that it’s not true. The Washington Post reported that “Biden got the time period, location, heroic act, type of medal, military branch and rank of the recipient wrong, as well as his own role in the ceremony.” The man who would be king lied about an act of military heroism to enhance his own role in history. They say that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. You’d think when they caught him once that he’d fly straight. Not so for good old Joe.

Joe Biden’s most questionable folly is his lie about the death of his first wife. The tragic accident that claimed the lives of her wife of 30 years and her young daughter was, in fact, her fault. She had mistakenly run a stop sign and was hit by a tractor-trailer. The driver provided on-site assistance to his two young children who were injured in the accident. Police records confirm this story.

But that doesn’t stop Joe Biden from taking advantage of his complaint. He has been telling audiences for years, teary-eyed, how a wandering trucker who ‘drank her lunch’ crashed into her wife, killing her and her daughter. As the media questioned him along the way, he continued to tell his story. During his recent run for the presidency, the trucker’s daughter asked Biden for an apology for years of insulting her father. There is no record anywhere that he was humble enough to offer an apology to a man who did nothing wrong.

We, of course, have no way of knowing someone’s state of mind or what motivates them. However, we can decide based on a person’s actions. And Mr. Biden’s actions speak louder than anything he can say. What his behavior screams is that it would be sheer folly to place this man at the controls of America.

May we wake up from this madness before it’s too late. I wish you good health and until next time… have fun, enjoy life and beware of the madness among us.
