Make your ex regret breaking up with you and give your relationship a second chance!
You have a burning desire to make your ex regret breaking up with you. Your partner has just informed you that he is leaving you. You are sitting like a fool with no idea what caused this. They gave you no explanation, no word of comfort, nothing at all. You feel terribly hurt and your self-esteem is hurt.
We should do something. Some action needs to be taken. But that doesn’t mean you should immediately go up to your ex and ask them to make up. You don’t do any of that. But quite the opposite. You pretend to your ex that it doesn’t hurt much. It’s no big deal if he/she is out of your life. I can assure you that your calm reaction will perplex your ex and you will soon find him repenting and trying to reconcile with you.
So the first rule is to never show yourself emotions. If you think it won’t be possible to face your ex without crying, choose some indirect means. Send your ex an email or message saying that you agree with the decision. Tell your ex that you don’t want to force him into anything. If he/she thinks it’s best to break up, you’re okay with that.
While doing this, you also hint in your writing that you have recently met a lovely person who has proposed to you. Now that you’re single after the breakup, you might think about accepting the proposal.
It’s okay to make your ex a little jealous. Make him feel that he cannot be fooled. Jealousy will draw him to you like a magnet. He will make his ex regret breaking up with you, and he will think ten times before taking such action again.
