Information products are ideal for selling on eBay because they are cheap and easy to reproduce and ship, but can be sold for high profit margins. And you don’t have to create your information product yourself. You can cheaply and easily have one created for you or use an existing product.
1. Have your information product created for you
You can use a “ghost writer” to write your information product for you. They will compile your e-book, but it will belong to you and have your name as the author.

2. Use an existing information product
You can use someone else’s EXISTING product so you do NOT have to create one yourself! There are tens of thousands of ready-to-use information products with private label rights or resell rights available, and they often come with ready-to-use sales copies. If you get the rights, you have an instant, ready-to-use product!
Private label rights mean you can rebrand the product as your own, while resale rights may not allow you to modify the product in any way.
While this avoids the need to create your own product, the downside is that many other people may also own the rights and sell the exact same product. Therefore, if the license allows it, you must modify the product to make it your own. Change the headline and graphics and rewrite the sales copy.
Private label rights and out-of-the-box resale rights often cost very little. In fact, many resell rights are free, but that’s because the product, usually an e-book, can’t be modified in any way and is basically an advertisement for other products by the author.
