Sex, a vagina that smells like fish, and more sex!

What could be the cause of a fishy smell from the vagina? Is it because you’ve had too much sex? The answer is yes, it is. Having sex, although very enjoyable, can sometimes lead to such a situation. When that happens, it puts a cramp in your sex life. I mean, no partner would want to have sex with you when you have a fishy-smelling vagina, would they?

Having a fishy-smelling vagina could mean you have a vaginal infection called bacterial vaginosis. This type of infection usually results in a fishy vaginal odor with a thin, watery, grayish-white discharge. This fishy smell is more evident after sex.

But why does having too much sex make your vagina smell like fish? Well, the kind of “too much sex” I’m referring to is when you have multiple sexual partners. People with multiple sexual partners are at higher risk for bacterial vaginosis than people with only one partner. This is because you have a higher chance of having unprotected sex and exposing your body to sexually transmitted diseases.

When you have such scents, it could cause a decrease in your sex appeal. No guy would want to be intimate with you causing your sex life to suffer. The best way out of this dilemma is to go to a doctor and tell him about your problem. Don’t be shy about telling the truth so your doctor can get a more accurate diagnosis of your condition. With this correct diagnosis, the proper treatment can be given and your infection could be over in just a week.

It can be difficult to abstain from sex once you are sexually active. The best thing you can do is at least stick with one partner when you have sex. It doesn’t matter how many sexual encounters you’ve had. As the saying goes, “Quality, not quantity.” So enjoy your sex life, but make sure you practice safe sex. In this way, the fishy smelling vagina will become a thing of the past.
