Cast down the spirit of Jezebel
To be free from the Jezebel spirit we must renounce her and remove her from the throne of our hearts. Queen Jezebel ruled over Israel and caused the nation to sin against God the Father. This spirit is considered a queen and sits very high and elevated in the spirit realm. She is full of pride and has to be struck down with the power of God in Jesus Name.
Spiritual warfare against the Jezebel spirit, as well as against any other demonic force, has to be waged in the spiritual realm where the spirit rules. We are not at war against people or a person who has this spirit. We fight against the spirit itself, never against the person. Ephesians 6:12 says, “Our fight is not with the people. It is against the leaders and the powers and the spirits of darkness in this world. It is against the demonic world that works in the heavens.”
Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Whenever you make war, ask God to give you discretion, discernment, wisdom and, above all, love. You never want to embarrass anyone or make them feel bad. Your desire should always be to help free the captives from the wiles of Satan.
Some people you will be able to help and others you won’t. I had a woman with the Jezebel spirit in a high leadership position who told me she wouldn’t get out because she didn’t want to get out. Some people love power and control so much that they will never regret it. Even God said that he gave her time to repent, but she never did.
Never feel that you have failed or that you have failed God if the deliverance does not take place. We are all given free will in life and it is always up to the individual to receive their own release from it. Pray the following warfare prayer against the Jezebel spirit, whether it resides in your family, your workplace, your church, or even rules in you. Throw out Jezebel today and start walking in freedom and victory!
Prayer of war against the spirit of Jezebel
Jezebel, we oppose you in the name of Jesus. We bind the ruling spirit of Jezebel in the heavenlies. It is written in the Word of God that whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. I bind Jezebel with chains from heaven and release God’s warrior angels to fight for us.
Father, we ask that you send down your warrior angels from heaven to help us drive out this ugly demon spirit. Jezebel we command you to sit in the dust and be common. There is no throne for you Jezebel. You are not a queen. You are vulgar and a liar. You’re not a virgin, you’re a whore. You are not tender and delicate; you are an ugly wrinkled old hag. We remove and destroy all false idols and all sacrifices. There will be no sacrifices! We command you to take the millstone and grind the flour. Take off your veil, he uncovers your hair, lifts your skirt, bare your thigh and crosses the rivers. We display your nakedness and expose your shame to the world!
We come in the name of the Lord of Israel, the Lord of Hosts. We dry your seas, we cause drought in your seas, rivers and springs. There’s no water; It’s dry. We break down your doors. The Lord promises his children that he will go before us so that the doors are not closed. He will break down the gates of bronze and cut down the bolts of iron. We tear down your pillars and we tear down all your walls. Stone will not be lifted upon stone. Flee to the island of Chittim, you will find no rest for you are defeated in the name of Jesus! There is no force in the seas. Your merchants mourn for you because your city is destroyed. The smoke rises to the sky, as in Sodom and Gomorrah. You are defeated and your youngsters are destroyed. You’ll be a widow in an hour. You will suffer the loss of children. The Lord says that he will throw you on a bed and burn you with fire. I by the blood of Jesus on all of you that cleanses, purifies and frees the captives.
