Enchanting is clearly one of the best professions for making gold. Everyone needs enchantments. When a player receives a new item, the first thing they do is purchase an enchantment (often from the auction house) to put on it. You’ll max out your earnings on Wednesdays because that’s when the arenas and raids reset, so people will be getting lots of new items on Wednesday night, so always make sure to have your enchantments in the auction house during this time.
Enchantment: This is really easy, if you don’t have an alternate enchantress make one now. Once you’re done, it’s time to start making scrolls.
Since Enchant mousepads are different on each server, I cannot guarantee that all of them will work as well for you.
Check the price of Infinite Dust / Greater Cosmic Essence and Nether Crystals on your server before making any of these.
These are my best sellers:
Enchantment Chest Scroll – Powerful stats. Sold for ~ 250 gold
You need x4 Dream Shards = 20g (5g each) x4 Nether Crystal = 108g (27g each) = 128 total gold to make. 250-128 = 122 g of pure benefit
Enchant Weapon Scroll: Go Berserk. Sold for ~ 522 gold
Requires x12 Infinite Dust = 18g (1.5g each) x4 Greater Cosmic Essence = 64g (16g each) x4 Dream Shard = 20g (5g each) x10 Nether Crystal = 270g (27g each) = 372 total gold to make. 522-372 = 150 g of pure benefit
Scroll of Enchant Weapon – Spell Power. Sold for ~ 350g
You need Infinite Dust x30 = 45g (1.5g each) Dream Shard x6 = 30g (5g each) Nether Crystal x6 = 162 (27g each) = 237 total to make. 350-237 = 133g of pure profit.
Enchant Weapon Scroll – Crusader retails for ~ 237g
You need Large Shiny Shard x4 = 18g (4.5g each) Straight Orb x2 = 90g (45g each) = 108g total to make. 237-108 = 129g of pure profit.
Enchant Chest Scroll – Super stats. Sold for ~ 70g
You need Infinite Dust x4 = 6 (1.5g each) Minor Cosmic Essence x2 = 12g (6g each) = 18g total to make. 70-18 = 52 g of pure benefit.
These were just my best-selling products, you will benefit from almost every scroll you can make, so make sure you have a wide supply.
Have at least 5 of these at all times and make sure you have the cheapest one in AH in peak hours (when people raid / many online).
I do not recommend selling it in the trade, this way you will only get 5-10 gold, while selling one in AH gives you 100-200 gold.
Check the auction house for 74+ green weapons, they are disenchanted in major cosmic essence, either 1 or 2 at a time, if the weapon is in the AH for less than a higher cosmic essence cost then buy and disenchant it, this works with many others. items in the AH, such as 43-50 weapons that give you a higher lower essence or 50+ that give a higher eternal essence.
