Organize things first

Power shutdown
Before beginning any repair work, it is important to remove the power connections from your appliance to start your work safely. You will also need to follow the same precautions for switch replacement.
Removing the drip tray
To get started, remove the drip tray from your dispenser. You will need a knife to remove it. Wrap your knife in electrical tape to prevent the dispenser and drip tray from falling off the sharp edge of the knife. After removing the tray, you will see a plug that transfers power to the switches. Remove this plug, wipe off the dirt with a dry cloth, and set it aside for a while.
Removing the old microswitch
Once you have successfully removed the drip tray and plug, you can now pull out the old switch. These units are normally covered by plastic strips and held by a hook. You can pull that hook with a screwdriver and take out the switch. The old microswitch can now be disposed of.
Installation of new switch:
For this step, you just have to reverse the previous step. Just like you removed the old switch, you need to install the new switch. Make sure the new switch is securely installed and all the cables coming out are in the correct position.
Harness connector reconnection
You are now moving the clasp to finish the process. After installing the new microswitch, the harness connector can now be reconnected. Lift it up above the dispenser housing and exert some force on the bottom to lock it.

After the successful installation of the microswitch and harness connection, you are almost there. Simply restore the drip tray to its original position and reconnect your refrigerator to power sources.
