I came from Italy two years ago, after finishing my degree in marketing.

I wanted to find more job opportunities in England, because I think that all companies here are marketing oriented and you can’t do marketing without knowing English.

I thought that with my degree I could find some profession in marketing.

Although I have done many job interviews with different companies and agencies, I did not find the right position for me.

I realize that the skills that companies want now are different from the skills that I have learned during my career, which is why all companies are digitally oriented.

So I decided to find a way to learn how to go digital.

I am going to share with you how to change your knowledge from traditional to digital, all the information I give you comes from my personal experience, so it is already proven.

So let me give you a quick guide on how to turn your traditional marketing education into digital.

Step 1

Search Google for a course that allows you to gain theoretical and practical knowledge.

With a Google search with the right keywords, you will find many courses, for example you could search for ‘best practice digital marketing course’ or ‘graduate digital marketing course’.

When you think you have found the right course for you, read some reviews to make sure you are making the right choice, you can call their customer service to explain how the course is structured.

When you find the course that meets your needs, you can start turning your traditional skills into digital skills.

Based on my personal experience, I found the digital marketing course ‘Osborne training’, it was exactly what I was looking for, a course organized in two sections, the live classes section and an internship with a digital marketing agency.

Step 2

When you start the course you will understand the difference between digital marketing and traditional marketing, exploring the basics of digital marketing and the main tools to become a digital marketer.

Based on my experience after enrollment to the course, I started the live online classes with a private tutor who guided me from the foundation of marketing to search engine marketing, digital marketing tools to advertise a business, and marketing strategy to build a business.

I have learned to use tools like Google AdWords, Google AdSense, Facebook Ads and to create and send marketing emails.

With the knowledge of these tools, you can now boldly enter the world of digital marketing, the more you practice and the better you understand how to deal with the different scenarios that you would face.

Step 3

You’re almost done!

Now that you finally understand how to use the top digital marketing tools, you are ready to go.

How to start?

Typically, to use these tools, you must have a business, website, or Facebook page that you want to advertise.

The easiest way to get started, if you don’t have a business to promote, is to create a Facebook page and try to raise awareness about it.

Facebook offers a platform, called ‘Facebook ad manager’, to advertise your own page, business or website, it is easy and fun to practice.

If you choose a digital marketing course that allows you to do an internship or work experience, you could practice and be guided towards responsibilities.

Returning to my personal experience, after the theoretical part I have completed the Internship program, which consists of a period of 3 months of work experience composed of performing the task that a digital marketer would face in the daily routine.

Duties like running a blog, developing and managing digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, track conversion rates and make website improvements, design strategies to drive traffic to the company’s website, using techniques that They include paid search, SEO, and PPC.

After completing all these tasks, I gained the skills to start looking for a job as a digital marketer!

That’s the path I took to turn my traditional marketing knowledge into digital skills.

Are you ready to start the conversion? Don’t waste any more time, find the course that suits you and start learning something useful for your career.
