Rin Okumura along with her twin brother Yukio were raised by a prestigious priest named Shiro Fujimito. As time passed, Rin was shocked when she found out that her biological father was actually Satan. Living on the border between the human world called Assiah and the demon world known as Gehema, Rin vows to become the ultimate exorcist and aims to fight her own father. To improve her skills, Rin joined True Cross Academy to train with other exorcists.

Episode 1-5: Awakening the Son of Satan
Although the anime has been continuously developed, the first 5 episodes are not much different from the story in the manga version. Episode 1-5 is the basic foundation of the story and ultimately established the central premise of the series. In these episodes, he focuses on Rin Okumura, the son of Satan and his plan of revenge for the death of his father who adopts him and known to be the strongest exorcist. Rin joined a group of another exorcist to train.

Episodes 6-10: The Exwire Exam
From these episodes, expect to get an introduction to a live action fight. The first 5 episodes established the characters’ personalities while in these episodes, Rin continues her training at True Cross Academy. As the exorcist continues to train, they will be evaluated for Exwire, which is known to be the lowest rank of an exorcist. These episodes take a darker direction quickly. Audiences will be able to see a glimmer of evil outside True Cross Academy.
Episodes 5-11: New Friends, Old Enemies
After the test of the Exwire, the exorcists on the train are sent on a mission that is a basic exorcism. In these episodes, they will be able to face new threats and challenges. Things start to get real in these episodes, like big fights, etc.
Episodes 16 and 17: Trial of the Blue Exorcist
In these 2 episodes, the true world of Blue Exorcists is now shown to the characters. Important stories are happening here.
Episodes 18 to the end: the reason for the guide
These episodes have good and bad fillers. In these episodes, the character training is as good as in the manga series.
